Gabrielle is a consultant at Ellis Jones with experience in placemaking and communications, and a passion for delivering initiatives that help people adopt environmentally-friendly behaviours.
Raised in Canada, Gabrielle is a passionate communicator bringing a mix of government and commercial communications experience to Ellis Jones.
Since moving to Melbourne she has gained in-depth experience in placemaking. Her work has predominantly involved conducting research (desktop, community and stakeholder engagement) to progress the development of a new precinct for Development Victoria. This resulted in the delivery of a place and people analysis, a place vision report, and a place activation strategy to further engage with the local community while the precinct is being developed (through pop-ups for example).
Gabrielle began her career delivering digital marketing campaigns for a multinational cosmetics company, Yves Rocher, in Canada. Gabrielle is well versed in marketing and communications, people-focused research and analysis, strategy-making, client and project management, stakeholder and community engagement.
She is degree qualified, graduating from McGill University in Canada with a Bachelor of Commerce having majored in Marketing and Human Resources. She also holds a Master of Environment from the University of Melbourne.
