Vanessa is a Senior Designer with conceptual design expertise and brand experience across digital and physical design and communications spanning arts and culture, health and ageing, government, not-for-profit and property clients. She uses her passion for creativity to amplify potential, finding an alignment to audience need with vibrancy and meaning.
Vanessa’s expertise in design as a communication tool expresses ideas and values through visual outcomes. Her aim is to resonate with people by sharing the heart of those who form the foundation behind organisations with a social impact focus. She uses her skill in design to amplify identity elements, finding clever ways to add a playfully creative spark to the projects she works on based on research insights and strategy.
Prior to her role at Ellis Jones, Vanessa has managed and led branding projects within the medical research space, working collaboratively with stakeholders, research participants and internal staff to create a project outline ensuring quality of artwork delivery. Her experience as a finished artist at advertising agencies affirms her understanding of the design process in its entirety – from inception of concept, through to refined finished art output – for organisations of any scale.
