Belvedere Aged Care is a family owned and operated aged care business committed to excellence in aged care. The facility is designed to offer a comfortable, pleasant and friendly environment where residents can feel safe and secure.
Ellis Jones was approached to develop a brand identity, corporate visual identity, and then design and develop a website that articulated the sentiments and qualities of the organisation visually and through user experience design.
According to survey results from January 2014, a staggering 90% of mobile phone users search for local information on their phones. As such it was imperative that Belvedere’s new website be responsive in order to be easily accessed on mobile and tablet devices.
As the vast majority of aged care websites do not respond to different screen sizes, the responsive website development works to Belvedere’s advantage, keeping them a step ahead of their competitors.
The beautiful new website uses strong visual imagery to convey Belvedere’s commitment to excellence and boasts the following:
- An easy to maintain CMS for Belvedere staff
- Enews subscription options on every page
- Bespoke accommodation pages that include information on room alternatives and features, with scope to add more as the residence expands
As this is Belvedere’s first website and there were no previous analytics to work with, we called on our experience in aged care website development as well as an in depth knowledge of the industry to inform the usability and information hierarchy on the website. Everywhere – in text, images and graphics – the brand speaks.
